CEU REQUIREMENTS
- 100% attendance for the 2-Hour Ladder Safety course: 2 hours of instruction time
- Completion of Continuing Education and Training Registration Form
- Active participation in all class exercises (determined by course instructor)
- Completion of required pre-and post-quiz assessment
- As applicable, achievement of a minimum passing score on the required end-of-course examination
- Participation and submittal of end-of-course evaluation form (must provide name on form to receive credit)

Discussion of the statistics of fatal falls, which are the most common cause of death in the construction industry relating to Ladder use
Lesson 2: By the Numbers - 10 Minutes
Will cover the actual number of deaths and injuries in the industry relating to falls from ladder use
Lesson 3: What Went Wrong - 5 Minutes
Video presentation where learners will attempt to Identify the fall hazard relating to improper use of ladders.
Lesson 4: The Scope CFR 1926.1053 - 10 Minutes
Learners will understand the OSHA Code relating to the OSHA Standard Relating to the proper use of Ladders.
Lesson 5: Rules for Ladder - 5 minutes
This topic will cover the proper use of Ladders.
Lesson 6: Ladders General Requirements - 5 Minutes
This topic will review examples of the typical job site rules and standards for safe ladder use.
Lesson 7: Types of Laddders - 5 Minutes
Learners will be able to differentiate the different types of ladders
Lesson 8: Defective Ladders - 5 Minutes
Learners will be able to understand how ladders become defective and what to do with the identified ladder.
Lesson 9: Commonly Used Terms - 5 Minutes
Learners will recall the most commonly used terms relating to ladders
Lesson 10: Ladder Inspection - 10 Minutes
Correctly identify when a ladder is damaged and how to properly tag out-of-service.
Lesson 11: Choosing The Right Ladder - 10 Minutes
Properly choose the current ladder they would need to perform the given task

Understand the different climbing angles and determine the proper, correct procedure to satisfy the ascent/descent.
